"Hi! My name is Darcy, and I am passionate about learning. I have enjoyed sharing my passion with students through tutoring for several years now. I have tutored math, science, piano, and percussion to students one-on-one both virtually and in-person. I have also taught percussion in the public school system as an independent contractor. During my tutoring and teaching experiences, I learned how to work with students at different stages and with different needs. I learned my students' long-term goals so that I could help them to stay motivated with the learning tasks at hand.

I graduated summa cum laude (4.0) with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, which means that I had the great privilege to study a plethora of different fields! The chosen fields for my degree included business, language studies (linguistics and Spanish), and family and consumer sciences (human development). I am currently pursuing a Master's in Biblical Studies with concentrations in women's ministry and biblical languages.

Through my own education experiences, I know first-hand how much work it takes to learn and retain difficult information. When I was in middle school, I struggled with math; when I was in high school, I struggled with physics. In both instances, I worked with tutors and teachers who helped me to excel. Eventually, I became the student who was able to help my peers through the work that they were struggling with. I know how important a tutor is in the life of a student, and it is my goal to help each and every one of my students to the best of my ability.
