"Hello, I'm David! Prior to attending law school and graduating in the top 1/3rd of my class, I scored in the 98th percentile on the LSAT and taught LSAT to small classes and individuals for almost 4 years. After earning my JD, I scored in the 90th percentile on my state's bar exam. I loved the LSAT and law school because of the opportunity to explore specific fact patterns and the principles that guide the law's regulation of those patterns. I also loved my professors, and I am thrilled now to get the opportunity to share that love of learning with students who are in the same position I was in just a few years ago!

My teaching style is encouraging and positive, and I seek to help students gain deeper understanding of the material by focusing on the "why" behind the questions and answers. I love the material that I teach, and I believe that with a little effort, you can love it to! (At least, once your exam is finished.)

In addition to legal subject matter, I studied Music Theory and History in college, as well as piano, and I am equipped to teach AP Music Theory or College Music Theory to students seeking that information. I am familiar with harmonization, voice leading rules for multiple parts, chord analysis and key change analysis, and analysis of long form music (e.g. sonata form, etc.) I am also familiar with theoretical analysis techniques such as sequencing, inversion, retrograde, and acceleration and retardation of themes. I got a 5 on the AP Music Theory exam and received As throughout four semesters of college music theory on the way to a BA in music and political science." less...
