"I have worked in public, private, charter, and international schools. I have served students with learning differences, and have taught in various roles K-12. I hold a generalist teaching certification for grades K-8, as well as endorsements for English Language Learning, Social Sciences, and Computer Concepts and Applications. I have an MEd in Learning Design and Leadership and am a Google Certified Educator and Trainer.

My work with students of different age levels, home languages, and learning differences, has given me a wide variety of strategies to use to help learners be successful and self-reliant.

My focus on overarching anchor standards for language arts, math, science, and technology helps learners build their ability to unpack and solve problems, and to apply their learning. I work with learners to examine problems and concepts, using different strategies, until we find what works best for them.

I love working with students to integrate technology and inquiry into their learning, as it allows them to access knowledge and share their ideas in ways not otherwise possible. This might include exploring accessibility features, learning through media projects, and game-based learning. With experience teaching technology literacy, maker education, and more to learners of all ages, I enjoy supporting learners in their journey to become fluent in technology.
