"I graduated with bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Honors Humanities from Azusa Pacific University, where I was part of the Honors College. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in the sciences as well as advanced writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. I am currently preparing for a career in medicine and have completed the MCAT, which has strengthened my understanding of subjects like biology, chemistry, psychology, and critical analysis.

I have been tutoring for many years and currently have over three years of professional experience at Sylvan Learning Center. In that role, I have worked with students ranging from pre-K through college, helping them build confidence in subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science. I have also supported adult learners, including military personnel preparing for the ASVAB. My tutoring experience began in middle school, and since then I have continued to help students in both one-on-one and small-group settings.

My teaching approach is centered on meeting students where they are. I believe that every student learns differently, and the key to effective tutoring is adapting my methods to match each individual’s learning style.
