"I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Science in Reading from Arkansas State University. With over a decade of experience in education, I’ve taught kindergarten, second, and third grade in classroom settings, and I currently serve as a Literacy Coach for grades K–5. In this role, I work closely with teachers and students on strategies for remediation, data-driven instruction, and curriculum support. For the past seven years, I’ve also tutored students in grades K–12 through a foster care support program, providing one-on-one instruction tailored to each child’s needs. My areas of expertise include elementary reading (ELA), math, science, and social studies, and I bring a patient, individualized approach to help every student grow in confidence and skills.

In our first session, I’ll take time to listen to your concerns and understand your child’s specific needs. If you have any data—such as report cards, test scores, or teacher feedback—please bring it so we can analyze it together and identify key focus areas. I’ll conduct a brief informal assessment to establish a baseline and begin tailoring instruction to your child’s strengths and areas for growth.
