"Hello! I am Scarlet, a former 6th grade reading teacher for twenty years and K-5 elementary instructional coach for the past ten years. I have a master's degee in elemenatry education from Appalachian State University. I am state-level trained in early literacy and have an academicallly gifted licensure. I have been nationally board certified in early adolescence social studies.

I have experience with teaching, planning and faciliating K-5 students who are above, on and below grade level. I am knowledgeable of all K-5 subjects and their standards. I am poficient in preparing students for all grades 3-5 End-of-Grade tests.

I would love to set up a free consultation meeting with parents and students prior to official tutoring. I offer after school and weekend tutoring, from homework help, studying for tests and/or preparing for End-of-Grade tests. I would prefer at least a 4 four notice if cancelation is necessary.
