"I am a veteran teacher of 35+ years. I taught in all grades Pk through 8, for 25 years (specializing in grades k-2) and was an Elementary School Administrator for 13 years. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and A Sixth Year Degree in Administration. My passion is teaching reading, writing and the love of literature. I retired from the public education system but I still have a wealth of experience and desire to pass on the love of learning.

I successfully taught reading, writing and language skills to hundreds of children over decades. My students learn to love to read through a love of literature.

I have held a teaching certificate in Elementary Education since 1978. I was Teacher of the Year in my district and received the national award of Who's Who in America's Teachers 3 times.

I taught reading using various phonetic approaches for over 20 years.
