"Thank you so much for visiting my profile!!! At times, we feel our children will not advance due to challenges at school. Well, that's a misconception that you can change by utilizing one on one interaction with a professional tutor!! You know how bright your child is and perhaps feel like they're not doing well with the challenges presented at school or other activities! However, your child can easily overcome these challenges and have confidence and success at school.

My experience includes two years of preschool teaching, 16 years of teaching at an elementary school specializing in phonics, reading, writing; and having certification to succeed with special need children, three years instructing grades six through nine in Spanish and 13 years as a WyzAnt Tutor. I have determined that ALL children can focus, learn, and develop academically when given the most optimal opportunities for their learning. For this reason, I have dedicated my entire life's work to their academic success and social development.

My university background includes a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with a Spanish Emphasis, a Bilingual/Bicultural Teaching Credential in Spanish, a Master's degree in Educational Administration as well as a Certificate in Autistic Behavior Therapy. I have worked with children with processing disorders, ADD, ADHD, and students two or more years behind. I have concentrated my work with children that are challenged and as a result, are losing hope and the desire to learn.

I offer you and your child hope! Once we begin our sessions, you will see improvement in confidence, the desire to learn and go to school again, and then watch the frustration disapaite. I guarantee that you will see observable progress in these areas as soon as three weeks while having three sessions per week!!
