"I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emmanuel College (MA) with a degree in Secondary Education (5–12) and English, along with a minor in Leadership and an SEI endorsement. After college, I joined Teach For America and taught 5th grade in South Nashville, TN, where over 75% of my students were English Language Learners. That experience strengthened my commitment to culturally relevant and engaging instruction, as well as my passion for supporting diverse learners. I recently completed my Master's in Education (May 2025), with a focus on English (5–12), to further expand my skills and licensure.

My teaching philosophy centers on building strong relationships, setting high expectations, and helping students find joy in their learning. While my expertise is in grades 5-12 ELA, I'm also confident in Social Studies and early literacy support.
