"12 years experience tutoring children and adults in Mandarin for both everyday and business purposes. I previously worked as a Mandarin tutor in Shanghai, including as a teacher at Shanghai University, where I accrued over 500 hours of teaching experience. I taught students from more than ten countries with a variety of goals, including developing their conversational abilities, reading and writing skills, and passing the HSK exam (China's official test of Mandarin proficiency). Many of my students have gone on to pass that exam at the level required to work for Chinese companies in China .

I have a passion for teaching and helping my students achieve their particular goals using a variety of engaging pedagogical tools and media.
