I am new on Wyzant but I’ve been a private math tutor for the past five years, and it’s been an incredible journey helping students of all ages achieve their academic goals. Whether it’s elementary kids learning the basics, high schoolers tackling Algebra and Trigonometry, college students diving into Calculus, or even adults returning to school, I’ve worked with them all. I specialize in math subjects like Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus 1 and 2. I also bring my expertise in programming and web development, covering languages like C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design. With a bachelor’s degree in computer science from FAU, I’ve combined my love for math and tech to help students excel.

My tutoring approach is all about creating a comfortable, one-on-one environment. I believe this focus is crucial since group learning in schools often divides attention. I’m a firm believer in patience and adaptability and if my students don’t understand something, I encourage them to let me know, no matter how many times we need to go over it. My goal is to explain things in a way that truly clicks for them, whether it means breaking concepts down further, using analogies, or finding a completely different approach.
