"Hello, I am Hannah! I graduated from Lee University with a degree in biology with summa cum laude. My passion for science was sparked in high school after having a chemistry teacher who made the subject interesting because of her enthusiasm for the topic. Chemistry allowed the integration of science and math, which I loved. While at Lee, I enjoyed biology classes like Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Organic Chemistry. These classes helped me refine my study habits and determine what works best. I found that repetition was a key part to understanding and committing the information I was trying to learn to memory. I apply this method while tutoring as I have seen it to be an effective way of helping students. I now work as a high school science teacher.

Though specializing in science, I have tutored different levels of math for 4 years. I have a strong understanding of all math topics up to calculus. Having a good foundation in Algebra is vital for future topics such as chemistry or economics. I emphasize this and teach in a way to help foster long term understanding of the material to be applied in future classes.
