"Hi, I'm Sam, a dedicated tutor with over three years of experience across various grade levels and subjects. I hold a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of California Riverside, an MAEd in Learning and Technology from Azusa Pacific University, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in biology and chemistry. I currently teach middle school science that aligns with NGSS.

In my tutoring sessions, the student and I go over a few problems together to introduce the topic at the beginning of the session. I solve problems step by step so students can see how to solve them. Then, I let them do a couple of problems independently to see how they do. After they are done, we will go over the answers.

My area of expertise lies in math and science tutoring. Over the years, I've successfully tutored students across various grade levels, covering a wide range of math topics from 3rd-grade math to calculus to the ASVAB. In science, I have tutored several students in chemistry.
