"I received a BS in Math (2008), and MS in Applied Math and Statistics (2010), and a PhD in Higher Education Leadership (2019). I also hold a professional teach certificate in the state of Florida for grades 6-12 math.

I started tutoring elementary and middle school students while working on my Bachelor’s degree. In 2009, I started tutoring at the college level. Tutoring was conducted both one-on-one and in a group setting.

I tutored a variety of courses: developmental math, intermediate algebra, college algebra, introductory statistics, math for liberal arts, finte math, precalculus, trigonometry, business calculus, and calculus 1. In addition to courses, I also tutored ACT and SAT Math.

In addition to tutoring, I have been teaching math and statistics at the college level since 2010. In 2021, I taught at a high school but returned to college teaching in 2023.

I like a more student centered approach when tutoring. I let the student show me how they are trying to solve a problem that they may be struggling with and then I will make corrections or suggestions on how to solve the problem correctly.
