"As an experienced educator with a strong academic foundation, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of Rio Grande and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University. I am licensed as a School Counselor in the state of Ohio and certified in Secondary Mathematics Education. This combination of academic preparation and licensure equips me to not only teach math effectively but also support students holistically, attending to both their academic needs and personal development.

I have over a decade of experience teaching in both classroom and one-on-one settings, with a particular focus on middle and high school students. My math instruction has spanned subjects such as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. As a classroom teacher, I focused on building conceptual understanding while reinforcing procedural skills through real-world applications and clear, structured instruction. I also worked closely with students in one-on-one settings, both as a tutor and as a school counselor, where I helped students develop individualized strategies for overcoming academic challenges, building confidence, and staying motivated.

Throughout my career in both public and Christian education, I’ve worked with students ranging from early adolescence through late teens, and my teaching experience includes traditional classrooms, private tutoring sessions, and mentoring relationships within school counseling programs.
