"Hi! My name is Emma, and I am currently enrolled in an 3+3 undergraduate/law school program. I am currently majoring in Political Science, and minoring in Sociology. I've always had an interest for Government & Law, so it only makes sense that I build my future career off of that interest. Throughout my education, I have been a part of the National Junior Honor Society, the National Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma, the first-semester freshman honor society! I also earned 7 awards for my academic achievement, for maintaining an A average for the entire school year (3 for every middle school year, 3 for every high school year, and 1 for earning all 6!

I began tutoring as early as elementary school, as a 6th grader (yes, that was elementary school for me!) tutoring 3rd graders in a variety of subjects such as spelling, grammar, reading, math, history, etc. You name it, I tutored it! So, I have a variety of elementary tutoring under my belt.

I continued tutoring through middle school, being nominated by my 7th grade Pre-Algebra teacher to be a part of the school's tutoring program! My specialty during those tutoring sessions was mainly math, but if a student had a question about another one of their subjects, I tried my hardest to find them an answer. Most of the tutoring, in my opinion, was to build these students' confidence in their abilities and reinforce the subjects that they know!

I took a break during high school to focus on my studies, but I took a plethora of AP courses during that time, such as AP Computer Science Principles, AP Literature and Composition, AP Statistics, AP Government & Politics, etc. Therefore, I have a wealth of knowledge in different subject areas.

But, I have now elected to come back as a tutor to share that knowledge with students who need it. I am very patient, very encouraging, and very passionate about helping other students succeed in their studies!
