"Hello. I am a math teacher at both a high school and a community college outside of Phoenix, Arizona, with 34 years of teaching experience. Most of my career has been spent teaching math, physics, and chemistry at the high school level but I have experience teaching middle school as well as experience as an adjunct lecturer at the university level. I am comfortable teaching students of all levels: general students, gifted students, and students with special needs. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students get excited when everything suddenly becomes clear and they "get it". That visible joy and the resulting boost in self-confidence is what I work for.
