"I have taught Mathematics in independent high schools in the state of Maine since 2006, but since 2018 I tutor full time. I am currently certified in Mathematics/ adult education. I can teach k-12 Mathematics, Social Studies, and Spanish. Before teaching high school, I taught at University of Maine Orono as a TA for two years, and at The College of Coastal Georgia as the Math Tutor Coordinator. I have a BA in History and a BA in Mathematics with a Minor in Spanish.

As a passionate, well-rounded educator, I love to show my students the practical uses of mathematics. I have tutored many over the last 20 years ranging from ages 6 to 60, all with different educational backgrounds, and I strive to teach students that mathematics is accessible to all educational abilities. I have a direct and exuberant teaching style that responds well to the continuing needs of my students.

I can tutor all levels of mathematics in the K-12 setting including: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics*, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting (* means college prep and AP levels).

College Classes that I can tutor include College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Non-Calculus based Statistics, and Financial Accounting.

Other classes that I can tutor are beginning and Intermediate levels of Spanish, as well as, some Social Studies classes.
