"Hi, I'm Jessica. I taught high school math and statistics for 11 years before obtaining my Master's degree in Statistics at Texas A&M and starting a new career as a data analyst. I also have a Master's degree in teaching with an emphasis in math from Westminster College and a Bachelor's degree in microbiology from BYU.

Over the course of my career, I've taught AP Statistics, Math 1050 (College Algebra), Math 1060 (Trigonometry), Precalculus, Algebra II, Geometry, and Secondary Math 2. My favorite part of teaching is working with students one-on-one. There is no one right way to do math, and if I can understand a student's thought process, I can find a way to explain the material in a way that is understandable. I believe that all students can learn math and that math should be enjoyable. I love seeing students experience success!

I can provide background notes and lessons or walk you through notes and assignments proved by your own instructor. I do not believe in doing work for you, but will instead act as a guide, helping you develop the skills and confidence to solve the problems yourself.

My AP Statistics students had over a 90% pass rate on the AP test every year.
