"Hey all! I am your friendly, neighborhood spider, I mean math teacher! My name is Evan, and I have been teaching math at the high school level for 8 years. I am currently teaching common core math For sophomores and seniors at my high school. During my time teaching, I went back to school and took night classes to earn my M.A. in mathematics, just because I wanted to learn more math for fun. It is safe to say that I love the subject and find it beautiful.

During my time in college for my undergrad, I worked as a math, physics, and chemistry tutor. This is where I really developed my skills as a tutor/ teacher and found different ways to explain concepts for people. Along with my passion for math, I also really enjoy teaching and get a lot of satisfaction out of helping people overcome their struggles in math and start to see it as fun. It is all about you and whatever needs/ gaps there are in your understanding. I am here to help and show you that math is not so bad after all.
