"I am excited to be your tutor! I have been teaching math and English as well as tutoring for more than twenty years. I am passionate that everyone can learn Algebra. I have taught AP Statistics and AP Research successfully for many years. I have taught every middle and high school math subject in the classroom from Pre-Algebra on up. Geometry, trigonometry, statistics, College Algebra, etc. are all areas of expertise for me with tutoring. I am a certified teacher in Florida for mathematics in grades 6-12 as well as Educational Leadership for K - 12. I have tutored many college students and adult learners as well. I have a BS from Penn State in Mathematics, a MS from Florida Institute of Technology in Math Ed and my Ed. S. from University of Central Florida in Educational Leadership. I was a national merit scholar and earned a perfect score on the math section of the GRE and love helping others with their test prep. I have tutored students on the SAT, ACT, GRE, GED as well as helped people pass certification exams such as FTCE.

I am able to explain things in a way that makes sense to students even if they typically struggle. I can help with lack of confidence or prerequisite knowledge. If one way doesn't work for you, then I will find another way to explain the concepts. With my years of experience I can target the areas that will help you the most in the shortest amount of time if we only have a few sessions together before that big test. I have other students that I have tutored for multiple years. Some of my students are highly gifted and like the challenge I can provide that they don't get at their regular school.
