"Hi! I’m Natasha. I am currently a Master’s student in Bioengineering Innovation & Design at Johns Hopkins University, and I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout my academic journey, I have always been drawn to educators who make learning engaging, supportive, and empowering, and I strive to bring that same energy to my own teaching.
My teaching style focuses on meeting students where they are and building confidence through steady progress. I break down complex concepts into simple, understandable pieces and use real-world examples to make material feel intuitive. I start each lesson by introducing the topic, work through guided examples together, and then support students as they practice on their own, always adjusting the pace and method to fit their learning style.
I have experience tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students in Biology, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and introductory engineering courses. I’ve worked with students one-on-one and in small groups, helping them master class material, prepare for exams, and build strong study habits. I’ve also mentored undergraduate engineering teams and served as a teaching assistant in college-level courses.
I truly believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I welcome student and parent goals or feedback and am always happy to tailor sessions to individual needs. I’m easy to reach, quick to respond, and committed to helping students feel confident and supported. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a lesson, I look forward to working with you!" less...
