"Hi, I’m Shu. Math has always been a deep passion of mine. As a student, I won first prizes in national math competitions in China during both middle and high school, and later earned a perfect score on the GRE Math section. I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Over the years, I’ve taught applied mathematics at the college level, spent two years as a high school math teacher, and tutored middle and high school students in subjects like geometry, algebra, precalculus, and calculus. My areas of specialty include ACT Math, SAT Math, Calculus, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Algebra 1 and 2, Prealgebra, Geometry.

I know math can be challenging not because students aren't capable, but because they often haven’t been given the tools or explanations. I aim to break down difficult topics into clear, understandable steps and help students build confidence along the way.
