"Hello my name is Jorge and I'm a recent law graduate from Case Western Reserve School of Law. I have a background in applied mathematics and numerous years of math tutoring under my belt. I have taught competition math to middle schoolers, but nowadays I mainly focus on providing individual high school level support in courses ranging from Algebra, Geometry, through Calculus 1. While obtaining my undergraduate degree however, I did take up to graduate level courses in statistics.

I am a strong advocate of teaching to fill gaps in foundational knowledge and building upon those skills. The biggest problem I see most of my students have is a shaky foundation or misunderstanding one specific topic, and it often causes them to spiral or feel like they aren't good at math.
