"Hi, I’m Varsha, and I have six years of experience tutoring math one-on-one for middle school, high school, college, and adult learners. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Temple University’s Honors Program, where I completed coursework that relied heavily on algebra, statistics, and quantitative problem solving. During my academic and professional experiences, I came to really value teachers who could break down complex topics in a clear and approachable way, and that philosophy strongly shapes how I teach today. My students have improved grades, strengthened core concepts, and increased standardized test scores.

I tutor pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, SAT Math, ACT Math, and college-level math. I also provide homework support, exam preparation, and help with building study strategies and foundational math skills. In lessons, I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorization. I walk through problems step by step, explain the reasoning behind each method, and practice a variety of problem types so students can apply their knowledge independently. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and pace, whether reviewing fundamentals, preparing for an exam, or tackling advanced problems.
