"Hello, I’m Abdullah and have been tutoring for almost a decade. I specialize in general homework help for students who like consistent tutoring, SAT prep, math tutoring and try to make students enjoy learning. I have been tutoring since I was in high school and also have been tutored by different tutors which helped me develop my own personal style for tutoring revolving around critically discussing concepts, having students explain them back to me while actively solving problems all while engaging the student and trying to make them enjoy what they’re learning while modified on a case by case basis for each student. As mentioned before I try to tutor for general homework help, building strong foundational habits and also specialize in tutoring math with specific focus math for standardized tests like the SAT. I was in the 99th percentile for the SAT with a score of 1550. This score allowed me to have a full ride to university. I studied cognitive science with concentrations in human computer interactions and cognitive neuroscience while working in research in the study of complex informational processing with a multidisciplinary study of biological and artificial systems. I currently tutor kids in a wide age range from middle school to college students giving each my 100% effort and time. I have been a part of tutoring refugees who struggle to speak English and have tutored honors students aiming for ivy leagues.
