"My personal educational philosophy is to help students not just to find the right answers but help to develop problem-solving skills and the ability to use their resources effectively. This approach to tutoring does more than just prepare a student to take and pass a test, it prepares them to be successful wherever life takes them. One of the benefits of this philosophy is that students learn to work independently rather than becoming reliant on a tutor. This is particularly powerful when a potential employer is determining which applicant is best able to work independently with the self-motivation to complete the tasks they are given.

I started tutoring around 7 years ago, focusing mainly on various tests preparation as well as middle school and high school math problems.

I also have experience working with adults who are in need of GED/HiSET help. I try to explain hard and confusing math problems in a simple way so my students can get more confident and stop being afraid of math and science. I'm very focused on results and it's very important to me that my students achieve success in their academic work.
