"Hello! I'm an outgoing and personal mathematics tutor with 8+ years of tutoring experience privately, through University, and at tutoring facilities in New York City. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida. My personal academic background has been shaped by high exposure and achievement within a breadth of mathematics courses. I scored the highest marks on the advanced placement testing for Calculus I, II and Statistics, and achieved a perfect 800 on the Math portion of the SAT. I leveraged these experiences at my job as a mathematics tutor with Mathnasium and independently with students ranging in age and ability from elementary to high school, with subjects including Pre-Algebra, Advanced Placement courses, and college preparation materials focusing on individual tailoring of content and repetition to build confidence and speed to ease test-taking anxiety. While mathematics can often be perceived as intimidating and challenging for many students, my goal is always to make the subject more approachable by drawing connections and applications within daily life.

I furthered my mathematics background during my time at the University of Florida with a variety of advanced and applied mathematics coursework, eventually graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. During this time I tutored student athletes through the University Athletic Association. I continued tutoring into my professional career in New York City, as both a volunteer and employee at Empire Edge, throughout the 2020-2021 school year to provide support for students as they navigated the remote schooling landscape.
