"Hi! My name is Wilhelm. I am an experienced math teacher who teaches High School Physics and Mathematics (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Statistics, Precalculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus). I graduated with a college degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Physics and Mathematics at the University of San Carlos and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education at the City University of New York-City College. I have New York State teaching certifications in Mathematics 7-12, Physics 7-12, and Students with Disabilities Generalist 7-12. I have been teaching for over 10 years and continuing my passion for collaborating and making an impact with my students in the classroom and through online platforms.

I love helping students to achieve their highest potential using different approaches such as explicit instruction, discovery learning, repetition, and questioning techniques which I developed expertise with my many years of teaching and tutoring students. I have taught different students of various backgrounds and ranges of skills including students with disabilities and English language learners. It is such a great privilege to witness how my students overcome their struggles and gain more knowledge and understanding from basic to more complex concepts. I enjoy watching my students grow and build confidence in the subjects I taught by giving them the opportunity to engage in an appropriately challenging task.
