"Hi, I’m Kevin. I have been teaching both Mathematics and Special Education at the secondary level in New Jersey for the past 10 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Special Education from Kean University and my Master's degree in Education from The College of New Jersey.

Throughout high school and college, I was able to learn from many amazing tutors who made each subject exciting and enjoyable. I try to bring this same energy, knowledge and experience to my own tutoring and make each subject as engaging as possible for all students. As a high school Mathematics teacher, I acknowledge the importance of lesson planning to incorporate innovative and differentiated approaches to teaching a topic and providing practice in order to fit the learning styles of each student. I recognize the importance of everyone learns in his or her own unique way!

In my 10 years as an educator I have developed effective strategies to work with students in large-group, small-group and one-on-one settings. I have worked closely with students of all levels in topics that include, but are not limited to, Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, ACT Math and SAT Math.

I want to make sure that I am as helpful as possible to my students and see through that they master the material they are learning. I am also always open to new tutoring approaches and am always open to feedback. I am easy to reach and consistently provide responses as soon as possible.
