I have been tutoring full time for about 5 years now and part time for about 15 years. I am capable of tutoring all high school math courses (including calculus) and some college level math courses. Most of my students I get through word of mouth but I also take students from Wyzant. In fact, I just recently updated my profile.

I believe that each student is different when it comes to learning and I try to adjust my tutoring style to fit the student's needs. In some cases, such as with algebra courses, it is most efficient to teach by example. In courses, such as calculus, I use both guided questions and examples to help the student get the answer.
