"Hi, I am Ms. Shepherd! I graduated with a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in middle grades teaching. I am a certified 4th-8th English teacher and have been teaching 7th grade for three years. I teach four sections of ELA and an ELT section to help students with their specific needs. I have tutoring experience due to tutoring through the school I currently work for.

Throughout years of substituting and being a part of after-school care, I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school ages. I have loved working with each of these age groups, as each of them has its positives. I love teaching all things ELA, from grammar to writing to reading.

I absolutely love ELA and how any student can bring their interests into the content. I love working with students who do not prefer ELA because I enjoy showing them that ELA can bring in things they are also interested in.
