During my undergraduate career, I was a Calculus (I, II, and III) and Physics (I, II, and III) tutor in the UML "Centers for Learning". I consider myself an Algebra tutor as well, since a majority of the students I tutored in Calculus were struggling mostly with algebra concepts.
Following my MSEE, I attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA to obtain my PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration on MRI physics/contrast agents. I was awarded the PhD in 2007.
After a few years working in the MRI field in academia and industry, I decided to start a teaching career in imaging physics. As a new adjunct instructor for UMass Lowell, I designed and taught an online graduate-level course in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) basics; the course ran for 4 semesters and it was a pleasure helping students understand the amazing world of MRI.
I have decided to come back to tutoring Math and Physics because I very much enjoy helping students be successful in these areas of study." less...
