"My name is Marisa, and I have been teaching for over 15 years in the public school setting! I hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education and hold Certifications in the following areas: 7-12 Math, 7-12 English, K-12 Special Education and Elementary Education. I have been tutoring for one year along with teaching. I am currently a teacher in a middle school special education classroom. I truly believe that all students are capable of learning and growing no matter what difficulties they may face.

In order to best meet the needs of all my students, I feel it is important to get to know them to see what they enjoy and try to focus my lessons around that.
