I have been a tutor for over 14 years, working both privately and for TRIO Upward Bound. No matter the subject, I focus a great deal on reading for understanding to help all of my learners grow. My goals are to build both knowledge and confidence so students feel comfortable asking questions and learn to logically think or research their way to answers when they are on their own.

I have successfully worked with students grades 3 through graduate school and have tutored the following subjects (in no particular order):

-- Math: Elementary Math, Algebra, Statistics, Conversions, Word Problems

-- Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher

-- Reading and Writing: General Reading Comprehension, Academic Reading Comprehension, Academic Writing
