"Hi, my name is Dan and I've got nearly 10 years of combined teaching experience at the high school and university level. I've also got experience working with younger kids and students, so students of all ages are more than welcome to contact me. I was a long time tutor for Rutgers University where I did my undergraduate and graduate studies, and I've tutored a variety of subjects from math and science all the way to music and philosophy. I've also taught biology courses for the university as well.

My favorite thing about tutoring is probably the rewarding experience of watching a student's face light up when they've mastered a concept that they previously thought impossible, and I look forward to helping you with any concept you need! I like to take a very individualized approach to my sessions, and cater the session to each individual student's needs. I'm very flexible in my teaching style, and it's always my goal to identify and work with the learning style that fits the individual student best.

I have an engineering background in addition to my science work, and I've taken and mastered a wide range of mathematics from algebra to differential equations. I also have nearly 10 years of experience working with students tutoring math, and my 5 years of graduate studies in computational science have given me a strong background in statistics.

I hold a master's in computational and integrative biology, and I have taken a wide variety of science courses, done graduate work in science, and have worked professionally in science. In addition, I have also spent nearly 10 years working with students both tutoring and teaching science courses including various biology courses, chemistry courses, and physics.
