It's so vital that students realize their capacity and ability to achieve something they thought they wouldn't be able to do. Every time a student accomplishes something, they believe in themselves a little more, and they then gain the confidence to push themselves forward and try new things. Developing this confidence is incredibly important, particularly at younger ages, and it's my goal to help every student I teach get to that point!
I have been playing piano for over twenty years and violin for eighteen, and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from UNC School of the Arts and a Master's degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music. In addition to tutoring or teaching privately, I've also tutored and taught students in both small group and classroom settings!
A few fun facts about me: My graduate degree program was based in Spain, so I ended up learning a good bit of Spanish while I was abroad! I can also speak French, and I've tutored students in both!
