"Hi there! I’m a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for mentoring and helping future practitioners succeed. I earned my degree in Health Science – Occupational Therapy Assistant from the University of Missouri, where I also served as a teaching assistant for a writing-intensive course. My clinical experience spans both inpatient and intensive outpatient settings, giving me a strong foundation in the OT process and client-centered care. The diagnoses I most commonly work with are brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s, Dementia, amputations, strokes, and overall debility. However, I have lots of study tips spanning the lifespan, including useful podcasts I have found, mnemonics, time management during the test, and multiple-choice elimination strategies.

My goal is to help you build confidence, feel motivated, and be fully prepared for the NBCOT exam. My tutoring sessions are tailored to each learner’s needs — combining clear explanations, individualized study materials, and practical test-taking strategies to help you set meaningful goals and perform your best on exam day.
