When I moved to Virginia in the 2000s, I worked for Social Services and that is where my first opportunity to teach and tutor started. I was offered an extra part time job as a Spanish Interpreter/Teacher for our Spanish speaking clients.

In 2005 I was also working for an Adult Language Spanish School where I taught English to Spanish speaking adults who wanted to become Citizens of the United States. I've also tutored children from Elementary to High-school when I worked as an English Tutor at VPkids Online Tutor.
