"I have been a High School and Middle School teacher for over 30 years and have a variety of curriculum experiences. I have taught Physics at the Honors and AP levels. In addition at various times I have taught middle and high school science courses covering Physical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Earth Science and Biology. I am GACE certified for Physics and Mathematics 6-12.

My math teaching experience also spans middle and high school levels. I have taught Sixth grade math, Seventh grade pre-algebra, Algebra I and II and Geometry, in the last ten years. Longer ago I taught calculus and have extensive experience with trigonometry, especially as they relate to physics and astronomy.

My extensive teaching experience over a wide variety of math topics allows me to help students with the specific topic at hand but also relate it to other topics where there may be associated confusion.

My longtime Physics teaching experience gives me insight to some of the most common challenges and misconceptions that students encounter in these topic areas.
