"Hi! I’m John B., a certified science educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Science Teaching from Brigham Young University. I have over 10 years of experience teaching high school students in Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Geology, along with more than 15 years of one-on-one tutoring experience. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students aged 14 to 18 in classroom settings and have also tutored individuals of various ages in personalized environments.

Having lived overseas for nine years, I bring a global perspective to my teaching and enjoy connecting with students from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I am fluent in Japanese, which allows me to support bilingual learners when needed.

My tutoring approach is personalized and results-driven. I focus on adapting lessons to each student’s unique learning style, building their confidence, and making science engaging and relevant to real-world applications.
