"Hi, I am Wajeeha, a sophomore Astrophysics major at Cornell University with minors in Data Science and Business. I have over four years of experience tutoring physics and mathematics, and I truly enjoy helping students make sense of concepts that can initially feel overwhelming.

My teaching style is shaped by both my academic background and my hands on experience. As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell, I have supported students in mechanics and special relativity by working through problem sets, answering conceptual questions, and helping them develop effective problem solving strategies. I have also completed formal coursework focused on teaching and learning methods, which helped me better understand how students learn and how to explain ideas clearly and intuitively. When tutoring, I focus on building strong conceptual foundations, breaking problems down step by step, and adjusting my approach to match each student’s learning style.

Outside of tutoring, I am involved in astrophysics research and enjoy applying computational and data driven methods to real world problems. I bring this same curiosity and analytical mindset into my teaching. I work with high school, and introductory college students in physics, calculus, algebra, and related subjects.

Beyond academics, I am someone who values balance and creativity. I enjoy listening to music, painting, reading, exploring new coffee spots, hiking, and taking spontaneous side quests whenever I can. I think these interests help me connect more easily with students and create a relaxed and supportive learning environment.
