"Hello! I have been teaching introductory physics at FSCJ South Campus for over ten years and have written two books on the subject. The best way to learn physics is by doing physics, so my teaching style has always been focused on problem solving. Relatedly, I help my students develop a mindful approach to those problems and learn best practices for studying.

I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Physics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where I focused on mathematical modelling of nanostructures. Prior to serving at the college, I worked as a consultant on a number of projects involving fossil energy research and risk assessment.
