"Hi, I'm Steve! I hold two master's degrees in computer and business subjects (one from the Wharton School and the other from Manhattan College) as well as a master's certificate in project management (from George Washington University). I'm certified to teach technology and business courses in the state of NJ. My background is in IT, Marketing, and Finance. After having spent a career in the business world I'm now using my expertise and knowledge to give others the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing environment. I enjoy working with college and high-school students, I have a passion for technology, and I love teaching. I've taught in the corporate world, as an adjunct at the college level, and to high school students.

I believe in being a lifelong learner. I’ve become that because of some of the excellent teachers that I’ve had throughout my life. I've had many teachers that have challenged me to learn, to question what I know (or think I know), to move beyond the facts and figures that I could find in a textbook and apply what I've learned. That is the type of teacher that I want to be for my students. To be effective I recognize that each student is an individual with their own strengths and weaknesses. I continuously work to identify strategies and techniques of teaching so that each student can reach their own potential.

I have a career full of real-world experience. I've created applications and websites utilizing many different platforms. I've worked with a diverse set of languages and technologies over my career and I'm used to mentoring and teaching these skills to others.
