"I’ve been teaching high school mathematics for almost 30 years. My undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. I also have an Advanced Certificate in Secondary Mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. I’ve held a Secondary Grades (7-12) Mathematics professional license since 1994. I’ve taught in high schools for 26 years in Vermont with course loads that included everything from Algebra 1 to AP Statistics. For the past 3 years I’ve been in Florida teaching AP Statistics, AICE Math, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2 and also AP Research. I have also worked as a private tutor for many years, both in person and online. I have also worked for the College Board as an AP Statistics Reader for several years beginning in 2016.
In any tutoring situation, I am comfortable working with the student’s current curriculum or I can provide supplemental materials in order to enable the student to achieve the results they are looking for. While I prefer to work through an online platform like Zoom, I am also available for local in person appointments in the event there is a need.
If a family is interested in my services, I would be fully willing for a free of charge phone or zoom initial consultation in order to develop a plan that can work for all of us." less...
