"I am a third year pre-medical Neuroscience major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I work as a tutor on campus for General Chemistry I and II. I have received feedback from previous students that my sessions were incredibly helpful in their success in the course. Through this experience, I have been able to guide students who are taking chemistry for the first time and students retaking the course towards better understanding course content and achieving mastery over the material. Additionally, I have been a TA for Biology II for two semesters and lead a session of 15 students through problem sets weekly. I recently took my MCAT which allowed me to intensively review undergraduate level biology, chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, physics psychology, and sociology. I scored a 522 on the MCAT which placed me in the 99th percentile of all students who took the exam. I have worked with 5able, an online study resource, and hosted "cram sessions" for over 200 students preparing for the AP Psychology exam and was able to develop my ability to maintain dynamic tutoring sessions through virtual platforms.

My goal as a tutor is to raise students' confidence and understanding of content so they achieve mastery of the subject and can rely on their knowledge for the future. The best way to do this is through practice problems and tailored tutoring sessions to the student. As an undergrad, I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and am passionate about teaching and promoting student-centric initiatives which build students academic confidence. In high school I scored a 1570 on the SAT (780/790) and 1450 on the PSAT (720/730). Additionally, I scored 4's on AP Biology, Spanish, English, Macroeconomics, and Chemistry.
