"I have over 30 years of experience teaching music, with specialties in Guitar, Music Theory, Sight Singing and Voice. I attended the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music as a Jazz Guitar Performance Major for 3 years and have performed with professional music ensembles for over 40 years. My teaching experience includes both studio and classroom environments and in Folk, Rock and Jazz styles.

I also have worked professionally as an employment counselor, helping people identify career opportunities based on individual aptitudes and interests, pursue training classes, co-writing resumes, planning job search activities and preparing for successful interviews.

Tutoring music students and helping others find meaningful work is very rewarding for me, because I get to facilitate experiences where others find a deeper level of satisfaction through creative self-expression and through improving or renewing their careers.

Some of my students have successfully developed their own careers in the music industry, while others have just enjoyed sharing their musical talents with friends and family.

I am an active and careful listener who can get to the heart of what motivates people in the world of work. But, a career is not simply what you do between the hours of 9 and 5. It's also about finding a work-life balance that allows your passions and interests to inform the work you do, while allowing you the time and focus to realize dreams that don't fit neatly into your job description.
