"I have taught high school math for 28 plus years. During those years, I have taught Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and College Math. I tutor math levels from Middle School through Calculus. I have also helped students prep for the math portions of the ACT and SAT exams. I have helped students improve their ACT scores for the past eight years. Students have commented that their confidence in math has improved while working with me. They do not fear math anymore.

I like to rely on materials that the student has been using on a daily basis. I also like to expose students to different methods of looking at concepts. I like to incorporate sites like IXL and Khan Academy to enhance student learning. I also like to make use of calculator skills during sessions especially involving test prep.

My experience with a variety of abilities has helped me develop a patience with the students I work with. My ability to utilize different methods of instruction has helped improve student confidence and accomplishment.
