"My name is Cassie! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and a minor in Biology. I went on to complete a Masters of Science in Psychology in 2021 from Missouri State University, where I earned a 4.0 GPA. I also completed a graduate certificate in Statistics and Research Design. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate education, I have been drawn toward professors who really care about their students and their success, rather than viewing them as just another student. With each class I took, my love of research and statistics grew stronger. I ultimately decided I wanted to be one of those professors I was always searching for!

In my second year of my Masters program, I taught an undergraduate Psychological Statistical Methods course, and have been hired on as an adjunct faculty member to do so at Missouri State University since graduating my program. My teaching philosophy is based on making my students feel empowered and in charge of their own academic futures.

I have tutored in person, as well as virtually through Zoom. While some don’t enjoy virtual learning, I strive to make it a positive learning experience for all!

I have a graduate certificate in Statistics and Research Design, which through, I have become very experienced with a variety of statistical programs such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, JASP, and Jamovi. I teach Psychological Statistics, where we cover a variety of topics ranging from probability, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and use of statistical programs. I continue to expand my math knowledge by seeking out new resources!

I want to help my students as best as possible, so I am always open to suggestions and questions from students and their parents/caregivers!
