"I am currently working as a Reading Intervention teacher in the West Contra Costa school district. I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and 13 years of teaching experience.

I have a passion for supporting literacy development and have completed coursework on the Science of Reading, Overcoming Dyslexia, and the Orton Gillingham method. I bring this knowledge, as well as an enthusiastic love of learning, to each lesson I teach.

After working with students struggling with dyslexia, visual processing disorders, ADHD, and other reading challenges, I have seen how frustrated and overwhelmed many children become. I would love to help your struggling reader gain new skills and confidence, so that they can feel successful in the classroom.
